What is Safe Sport?
Safe Sport provides a framework to ensure that everyone in the sport of lawn bowls is able to enjoy the sport. Bowlers, coaches, umpires and volunteers have the right to participate in a safe and inclusive environment that is free of abuse, harassment or discrimination.

Our Mission Statement
The Oshawa Lawn Bowling Club is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting and educating the public about the sport of lawn bowling. Our mission is to highlight the physical, mental health, and social benefits of lawn bowling for all ages, in a safe and inclusive environment. We strive to provide a friendly and accessible atmosphere where members and guests can participate together equitably, fostering social interaction and good sportsmanship.

- Member Pledge: The Oshawa Lawn Bowling Club (OLBC) is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where people want to play and belong. The club's ability to attract and retain members is integral to the success of the club. We acknowledge that in order to be successful now and into the future, we must embrace these principles and become leaders within our community. The OLBC fully endorses the Bowls Canada Boulingrin (BCB) Safe Sport Belonging in Bowls (BIB) strategy as a fundamental path to achieving this goal.
